Stirring Up Trouble

What’s a man gotta do to get some relief around here?

Clearly I didn’t know the answer anymore.
I struck out every time I tried to pick someone up.
It’s been the longest dry spell of my life, and I nearly lost my mind over it.
When tasked with helping out at the rodeo, I agreed simply for the change of setting.
The minute I arrived, I knew my problem wasn’t as permanent as I thought.
My body woke up the minute I saw him.
Anders Blaze.
He scowled at me.
He grumbled about me staying in his home.
He claimed to want to avoid me, yet he continued to pop up everywhere I turned.
If I’d learned anything in my thirty some odd years of life, it was to trust my gut.
And my gut said Anders was mine.
Being with him wouldn’t be easy.
It would surely stir up trouble.
